UPCOMING DATE AND TIME:
- Sunday, Oct 4, 2026 Guided Nature Walk 10 AM - 12 PM; Beer Tasting 2 - 4:30 PM
Beers Made By Walking comes to RiNo Art District for a day celebrating beer, art, nature, and the landscapes that connect them.
This nationally recognized program invites brewers onto guided nature experiences, challenging them to make one-of-a-kind beers inspired local plants, neighborhoods, history, and a true sense of place.
The beers featured at our 20th Anniversary event are inspired by a guided walk through RiNo this summer. Brewers explored the district alongside botanists, historians, and local experts, learning about the area's ecology, public art, beer history, and cultural heritage.
On October 4, you can experience Beers Made By Walking in two unique formats:
1. Guided Nature Walk | 10:00am - 12:00pm - Experience an abbreviated version of the brewers journey during a free Guided Nature Walk. This all-ages walk highlights many of the stories, places, and natural features that inspired this year's participating breweries.
2. Beer Tasting - [2:00pm -4:30pm] The celebration continues with the ticketed Beer Tasting where guests 21 and older can sample the finished beers, meet the brewers, and learn how RiNo's landscapes and stories influenced each recipe. Each tasting ticket includes commemorative glassware.
Please arrive early for the Beer Tasting. Beer quantities are limited and pours are available while supplies last; beer is not guaranteed to be available throughout the full 2.5-hour event.
Participating breweries include:
- Full Frame Beer
- Flower Shop Beer Werks
- Our Mutual Friend
- Ratio Beerworks
- River North Brewery
- Strange Craft Beer Company
- Woods Boss Brewing Company
The Guided Nature Walk is free and open to all ages. The Beer Tasting is a 21+ event, and all tasting attendees must present a valid, government-issued photo ID for admission.
Please note: Participating breweries, programming, and event details are subject to change as plans continue to evolve.
This is Day 3 of the three-day Art RiNo festival. The weekend begins with RiNo Eats on Friday, an immersive culinary experience featuring local restaurants, art, and live entertainment, followed by Art RiNo on Saturday, a free multi-disciplinary art festival at RiNo ArtPark. Live mural painting will also take place at multiple locations across the district throughout the weekend, including the three-day Mural Jam with TUKEONE and collaborators and a new mural by Moe Gram at RiNo ArtPark.
